Biomass Heating Systems

Concerns about global warming and the effect of climate change are escalating by the day. But there are now viable, cost effective, sustainable alternatives available that will allow you to do your bit for the environment and are at the same time financially beneficial too. Biomass boilers are one such option, by replacing oil and gas with sustainably resourced wood pellets, it will help you save on to your energy bills and be eco-friendly at the same time.

At Eco House Solutions, we supply quality Viessmann multi-fuel boilers that are ideal for home use and also for large commercial premises. These biomass boilers burn biological matter to produce heat for use in heating hot water systems. Wood, in the form of wood pellets, wood shavings, wood chips, wood dust or mixed wood can be all used hence the term multi-fuel. The wood must be good quality, untreated and with low moisture content. These are fed into the combustion chamber., where they get ignited and produce hot gas and air. These travel through a flue, and then through a heat exchanger. From here, the heat is transferred to the heating system. The excess heat is then stored in a thermal tank.

The Viessmann boilers we supply come equipped with advanced features to ensure safe, efficient operation and clean burning.

Biomass boilers offer flexibility and are suitable for use in small domestic as well as large commercial properties. These can be integrated within the existing space, and utilise existing underfloor and water heating systems. Biomass heat can be used to heat homes, generate electricity and even power vehicles.
