How does a heat pump system work, and what are its benefits?

20
Dec

An air source heat pump transfers the heat drawn by a fan from the outside air to an indoor space. This heat is transferred via an evaporator that is situated within the heat pump. The refrigerant that circulates inside the pump is then further compressed using a compressor to produce more heat. The heat produced in this process is transferred in a heat exchanger to the heating and hot water systems in your home. This system is versatile and can be used for several different water heating purposes, including swimming pool heating.

Here are some of the benefits of using this advanced and environmentally friendly water heating technology:

  • The most important advantage of using this technology for heating your house or swimming pool is the reduced expenditure on your energy bills. Depending on your usage, required temperature and the thermal efficiency of your pool, this can be a considerable improvement.
  • This water heating technology works for indoor as well as outdoor pools. It can heat up any pool no matter what the size or time of year.
  • The best part about this technology is that it works all year round. Although it makes use of the outside air to generate heat, it works efficiently down tot -15 degrees Celsius.
  • We make use of Viessmann systems which are highly efficient and environmentally friendly.
  • The installation is effortless, and the costs are within limits. This system can be incorporated along with your existing pump and filtration system as well.
  • Maintenance is minimal and extremely cost-effective.
  • This system is almost silent and won’t disturb your peace.
  • Heat pump systems from Viessmann are well built and make use of the latest technology. The electrical programming is highly efficient, and it will last you a long time without any trouble.
  • Our heat pumps are all Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) approved. This certifies that they produce heat from renewable sources only.
