How Heat Pump Technology for Low Cost Central Heating Works

28
May
Air to air heat exchanger systems are one of the most cost efficient systems to heat up your home. These heat pumps work just like your normal refrigerator works but in reverse. These systems absorb heat from the outside air which can be used to heat radiators, underfloor heating systems, warm air convectors and endless hot water in your home. These systems work even when the temperature is as low -15°C.

Heat is absorbed from the air, at low temperature, into a fluid which then passes through a compressor. While passing through the compressor it gets heated up and the temperature increases. It then transfers this higher temperature heat to the heating circuits or fans of the house. These make a very cost effective solution for your home as the electricity bills are reduced considerably.

The average amount spent on heating fuel is also quite large. Over the years, due to inflation, the amount only escalates further year on year. With a heat exchange system in place you can enjoy fuel savings that amount to tens of thousands of pounds.
