Large-Scale Heat Networks

24
Apr
The term 'economies of scale' perfectly applies to large scale heating systems as these provide an economical and environmentally friendly heating solution for a network of buildings or a complex.

A large scale heating network distributes heat that is generated at a centralised location and distributed through a network of insulated pipes. This system can be successfully installed for residential or commercial spaces to take care of the heating and hot water requirements.

A heat network provides an efficient and economical solution since it can simultaneously produce heat for individual spaces. The individual small boilers in different homes get replaced with a single, more capable, and more efficient source of heat generation usually a conventional boiler, air-source heat pump, ground source heat pump or biomass boiler. The cost of the installation and subsequent running costs gets split between the individual homes. This system turns out to be much cheaper per unit, and importantly, is more environmentally friendly. The carbon emissions are contained, which reduces the carbon footprint of that group.

At Eco House Solutions, UK, we make use of renewable energy sources to give you an energy-efficient solution. Our large heat pumps and biomass boilers are well suited for a large scale heat network. Our systems can make use of waste energy from buildings to generate heat. With our combined heating solution, economising becomes easier.

Every installation is unique and can be a single source of energy or a combination. We use Viessmann products, meaning they are good quality and reliable and can be scaled to meet your specific requirements. No matter the size of the development, our heating and domestic hot water system can be a great solution. At Eco House Solutions, our aim is to support responsible and sustainable development. Get in touch with us for more information about this system.
